– Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering with 5+ years’ related experience in a manufacturing, industrial or production environment of which 3+ years must be in a supervisory position or the equivalent obtained through work experience and education.
– Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering with 7+ years’ related experience in a manufacturing, industrial or production environment of which 4+ years must be in a supervisory position or the equivalent obtained through work experience and education.
– Significant industrial planning or coordination experience may be substituted for education.
– Experience working with a diverse group of technical disciplines and people.
– Experience preferred in preventative maintenance best practices.
– Previous packaging or bagging experience or experience obtained in a bagging and packaging or FMCG environment.
– Demonstrate high proficiency in both oral and written communication in English.
– Relevant licenses and certificates may be required.
– Courses in mechanical drawing, woodworking, electricity, and blueprint reading, would be advantageous.
– Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
– Leadership experience recommended.
– A solid understanding of procurement processes.
– Proficiency in Microsoft environment as well as a diverse experience in SAP.
